Paper Wins Best Paper Award at GVSETS 2024

We are proud to announce that our paper, titled “Strategic Decision Intelligence: Safeguarding Product Development Success in Complex Engineering Landscapes,” received the Best Paper Award in the Digital Engineering / Systems Engineering track at the 2024 Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering & Technology Symposium (GVSETS) on August 13th in Novi, MI, USA.

The paper is authored by Alper Murat, PhD, Ratna Babu Chinnam, PhD, and Satyendra Rana, PhD of DAOSoft / Agile Systems LLC along with Stephen H. Rapp, PhD, Andrew Dunn, Ronald J. Renke, James E. Bechtel, and Kurt D. Hansen of the US Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center and the US Army Program Executive Office for Ground Combat Systems.

The paper advocates for the integration of decision intelligence and analytics platforms to enhance decision-making capabilities in product design and development. By leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning algorithms, and decision support systems, these platforms are designed to streamline workflows, reduce decision-making biases, and improve decision confidence, timeliness, and knowledge management. Through these innovations, organizations can effectively navigate complexity and uncertainty, fostering innovation, efficiency, and sustained success in an increasingly dynamic global environment.

Additionally, the paper includes two case studies demonstrating the application of these platforms in support of the Digital Engineering efforts for Program Protection and Automotive Mobility Modeling within PEO GCS.
